Just imagine…

From the beginning of virtual conferencing, it was clear that I needed a partner to work with to handle the technical aspects of this new model. I could not have hosted our virtual events without Sarah. Her calm demeanor, can-do attitude, communication expertise, and attention to detail made my job so much easier. Discovering Sarah made me look good, too! Having her on board allows me to expand the possibilities of what we can do as a small organization.

Leading everything for a small nonprofit organization is impossible and utterly exhausting. There are times when our organization deserves more time, attention, and thought than I, as Executive Director, can squeeze out of my busy schedule. I knew we needed high-quality and focused attention. Having seen Sarah present at local nonprofit events and trainings, I knew she knows her stuff and was the right person to give the Middlebury Area Land Trust the attention it needed during strategic and complex times. Having Sarah’s support allowed me to step back from the work, put my thinking hat on, and let the creative juices flow.

Our experience with Sarah is beyond what we anticipated. We increased our favorable exposure and have been able to tell our members’ stories accurately. We totally revamped our website, joined social media, and used media we had never used before, like radio and print. Sarah is productive, creative, responsible, fun, and goal-oriented. She has made it a comfortable and rewarding experience. It has been a pleasure to work with her now and into the future.

She was spot-on with all her recommendations! With her help, we put together a script and schedule for the event; rehearsed presentations; considered optimal connectivity, lighting, and sound options; and worked through transitions. We had no idea that there were so many small details that should be considered, and in the end, her attention to all these details paid off.

The Middlebury Area Land Trust worked with Sarah on two complex projects, and both experiences were smooth, efficient, and guided with attention to detail. She not only supports the nuts and bolts of the process, but also gets behind the mission itself. It’s like she’s one of us, rooting for the same vision, values, and outcomes.
